Blue Monkey Technology Ltd has delivered infrastructure work since 1997. The focus is architecting and operating enterprise estates: Azure, AWS, and hybrid platforms, with automation, multi-vendor environments, and security as standard.
Engagements are hands-on. The work sits on the estate, in releases, and with the client team — not as a programme office or a delivery layer.

Energy · 2022–2025
Contract engagement on a UK energy programme to cut meter switching from up to three weeks to five working days, on a complex Azure and AWS estate. Dual-region Azure before, during, and after go-live; production releases with other teams; yearly BCDR and performance testing; skills transfer to the client SRE team; alerting and monitoring improvements.

PKI rebuild; datacentre storage network optimisation; backup upgrade; AWS disaster-recovery proof of concept designed, built, and tested.
Local government · 2018–2019
Council technology refresh: hybrid cloud (on-premises and Azure), Windows 10 MDM with Intune and AutoPilot, coexistence, and end-user migrations.

Infrastructure and Security Engineer. Windows and Red Hat on HP, Alcatel and McAfee. Multi-tenant clustered VMware for development teams, 10Gb Cisco, Dell EMC storage. Cross-platform automation with Chef, PowerShell, and Bash. Technical lead on client-site upgrades in France.

Lead engineering on a core upgrade: Cisco, HP blades, Windows, Red Hat, VMware, NetApp and HP SAN. VMware estate of 2000+ hosts and guests. SME for blades and VMware. SCCM. Second- and third-line support across sites, including physical racking and cabling.
